Built in the XVth century by famous architect Giovanni Antonio Dosio, Palazzo Larderel is a classified historic monument, situated on Via Tornabuoni, one of the most fashionable street of Florence, a stone’s throw away from museums (Uffizzi , Palazzo Pitti, Academia …) and monuments as Il Duomo (Cathedral and Baptistery), Palazzo Vecchio (Town Hall), Ponte Vecchio (covered bridge) and innumerable attractions. It has been carefully preserved and lived in by our family.

On the second floor of the Palace, with an elevator, it can host 6 persons, and has a 60 m2 shaded terrace, surrounded by jasmine, where to dine and relax.

It is a unique place to experience Florence history and beauty.

A little bit of history

The palace was completed in 1580 and was purchased in 1839 by the Larderel family.

The architecture of the building was inspired by the late Renaissance Roman models. The portal, unlike typical Florentine architecture, is not arched, but with more classical pediment supported by Doric columns, as in the Palazzo Bartolini Salimeni. The Palace is built using “Pietra serena” stone.
